There is a story behind this one…Kasabian were supposed to play the gig in the poster supporting the Music…but the Music apparently cancelled out.  And then another gig was scheduled..perhaps a tad too rapidly…at Jillian’s Entertainment Center, a sort of mall-restaurant complex.  As reported in the Telegraph Magazine, 19 March 2005…

What I want to know is…WHERE ARE ALL THOSE MOBILE PHONE RECORDINGS?

Also…can you imagine being that band who won the competition, getting your big shot playing a gig, and then…oh, your opening act just happened to move 20,000 tickets in a week in the UK last December.  Oooopsie.

Kasabian also played The Empire, Middlesbrough in 2004.  As usual, they were invisible in early ‘04.

Kasabian are scheduled to play Le Zenith, Lille, today.
